It seems there is an accident between 51 and Doyle road involving the jaws of life. This reported to me by my in-laws who are stuck in traffic due to the accident. I guess the temperature drop has caused some icing up of the roads in the area. Brownsville road between Option supply and 51 didn't seem to be treated at all as we came back from a Karate tournament for Rising Sun Karate. Just thought I'd drop you a line.

Just an FYI, I just finished submitting a message to Representative Bill Kortz about the road (weed) maintenance on Streets Run road and Doyle drive. Again, thank you for your help and keep up the excellent work.

Robert - I have a question and not sure where to ask. I'm not sure if you've noticed but from Hays to Rt. 51 the "jungle" along side the road is getting pretty thick. I mean it is at least over the guard rails and right up to the white line in places. So much for being able to dodge anything coming out of the weeds in those areas. And to top it off for the past two days since the rains came through there is literally a pile of mud and rocks in the middle of the road between Chapons and Schuttee Road. I think the state maintains Streets Run road but it might be Baldwin as well. Would you be willing to ask around?

A rally for Bright and Early Childcare center is scheduled for Tuesday June 28th at 5pm-7pm in the grassy are infront of the Baldwin Borough bld on Churchview Ave. Any interested in showing their support for Bright and Early is welcomed to come. This closure if devestating to the north Baldwin community and displacing over 80 children is an outrage!
