To every thing there is a season—and we are in the season of planting. Despite the frost warnings this week, May is the time when many plants take root. And not far behind are the early harvests. There are a number of local farms that provide a variety of seedlings and sprouts, produce, and other products as the growing season progresses. A suspect has been arrested.
Allegheny County police Lt. Andrew Schurman told WPXI that Baldwin Borough police found a 24-year-old man who was shot in the head at a home in the 3400 block of Brickley Drive in north Baldwin early on Tuesday morning. The man is expected to survive the shooting, and Schurman told the TV news station that police arrested a suspect in the incident at the same house where the shooting occurred.
