Trivia Time: On What Road Was a Veterans Banner Hung?

The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch has partnered with the Baldwin Historical Society to bring you a weekly trivia question that delves into our area's colorful past. Pat Lombardi and Patty Woehler, co-presidents of the society, generously write the questions and provide the pictures. Here is this week's question: The first picture above is of an Honor Roll captured in 1945. It was located near the corner of Horning and Curry roads, across the street from Bloom Engineering Company. The names of the two servicemen are unknown. The second picture found above is of a flag hung to honor the men of the Baldwin community who answered the call of their country for service during World War I.
