And three other stories in these Whitehall Borough police notes.
Vulgar Message A resident from the 1700 block of Skyline Drive in the Wallace (Prospect) Park area notified Whitehall Borough police at around 3:38 p.m. on Monday that his Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck had recently been vandalized, Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko said. The victim's truck had several scratch marks on it, apparently made by a key used by an unknown person. Some of the scratches—made sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning while the truck was parked to the rear of the victim's apartments building—spelled out the word "whore," Danko said. The victim said that he did not have any problems with his building's management or with fellow residents of his building. Whitehall police are investigating. …

And five other stories in these Whitehall police notes.
Suspected Overdose Whitehall Borough police officers arrived at a residence in the 1600 block of Skyline Drive in the Wallace (Prospect) Park area at around 9:47 a.m. on Sunday for a report of an unconscious male, Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko said. Crews from Medical Rescue Team South Authority also came to the scene to find the man—Nicholas Antonio Miller, 24, of 2922 Glenmore Ave. in Dormont Borough—in a state of "ineffective breathing," Danko said. Danko said that Miller was suffering from an apparent overdose of a controlled substance and that he was in possession of a syringe that contained what is suspected to be heroin. An ambulance took him to UPMC Mercy Hospital for treatment, Danko said. A Mercy representative …

And four other incidents in these police notes from the past week.
Mystery Guests on Brownsville Road Whitehall Borough police officers went to the 4700 block of Brownsville Road at around 6:34 p.m. on Wednesday in response to a homeowner's report of suspicious activity. The homeowner said that people have been coming to a home on that block on multiple occasions recently looking for someone who does not live there. The homeowner's story has been corroborated by neighbors in the immediate area, Whitehall police Chief Donald R. Dolfi said. Neighbors have told police that a mysterious vehicle has been parked in their driveways and that someone has emerged from that vehicle to walk to the home in question before returning to the driveways. Officers recently located the vehicle in question and found three …

Heroin, Marijuana Believed to Be on Group in Prospect Park Area A Whitehall Borough resident from the 1745 Skyline Dr. apartments building in the Wallace (Prospect) Park area contacted Whitehall police at around 7 p.m. on Friday to report four suspicious males at the rear of his building, police Chief Donald R. Dolfi said. According to Dolfi, the resident said that the males, who were sitting in a vehicle, "didn't appear quite right." When police officers came upon the group's vehicle, they discovered what appeared to be marijuana, heroin and drug paraphernalia in the possession of two 17-year-olds, a 20-year-old and a 21-year-old, Dolfi said. Whitehall Borough police stories from this past week.
Heroin Found by K-9 on Spring Valley Drive A Whitehall Borough police officer monitoring traffic in the 5300 block of Spring Valley Drive stopped a vehicle for speeding at around 9:55 a.m. on Monday, Whitehall police Chief Donald R. Dolfi said. As the officer interacted with the speeding driver—Paul Howard Schuetz, 29, of 243 Whitehaven Dr. in Richland Township—Schuetz appeared nervous and fidgety, Dolfi said. The officer then noticed an orange needle cap beneath Schuetz's seat, which he reported that Schuetz was trying to conceal. Unluckily for Schuetz, the officer had a K-9 unit available and used the dog to search for and locate heroin and drug paraphernalia in Schuetz's vehicle. Schuetz has been charged with possession of a controlled …

Search Warrant Leads to Marijuana Bust at Prospect Apartment Whitehall Borough police officers who went into 1821 Skyline Dr., Apt. 21, with a search warrant at around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 28 reported finding over a half-pound of marijuana and an assortment of drug paraphernalia there, according to Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko. The officers obtained a warrant for the Wallace (Prospect) Park-area apartment based on an ongoing investigation regarding drug sales originating from the residence, Danko said. Among the paraphernalia that the officers found were digital scales, smoking pipes, packaging material, U.S. currency stored inside of a plastic container, and a marijuana grinder. Three men were inside of the apartment at the…
