Whitehall Man Arrested A Baldwin Borough police officer stopped motorist Thomas Edward Brannan, 63, of Sherwood Drive in Whitehall Borough, in the Brownsville Plaza parking lot at around 3:40 a.m. on Nov. 17 for erratic driving, according to a police report. The officer tried to pull Brannan over in the 100 block of Knoedler Road, he reported, but Brannan drove over a sidewalk and a grassy area in front of the south Baldwin shopping center before stopping in front of Dave's Terrace Bakery. The officer smelled alcohol upon approaching Brannan and reported that Brannan admitted to recently drinking alcohol.
