UPDATE: The deadline to buy tickets is Feb. 10! The Baldwin-Whitehall Patch will be there. Baldwin High School will host a 2012 Senior Class Prom Fashion Show in its auditorium on Sunday, Feb. 19. The event is designed for families of the Baldwin-Whitehall School District to enjoy a day of shopping, entertainment, prizes, brunch and the latest in prom fashions. The event will officially run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 19, but doors will open at 10 a.m. for attendees to check out vendors and to buy tickets for a Chinese auction. Brunch—in the high school's main cafeteria—will include wedding soup, fresh fruit, pasta salad and mini croissant sandwiches. In addition, eight cakes—donated by local bakeries—will be raffled off. The weekend before they leave the Baldwin-Whitehall School District, members of the BHS Class of 2011 tripped the light fantastic at the Omni William Penn Hotel.
"Under the City Lights" was the theme for Baldwin High School's Senior Prom this past Friday. Baldwin's Class of 2011 enjoyed its last prom at the Omni William Penn Hotel, located in downtown Pittsburgh. Baldwin's senior class came dressed in the latest fashions, and their shoes varied from high heels to colorful sneakers. Dinner and dancing were not the night's only attractions. A caricaturist was available to draw pictures of the students and their dates, and students even took a break from the dance floor to dip pretzels and marshmallows into an elegant chocolate fountain.

"Paris: City of Lights" was the theme for last Friday night's 2011 Baldwin High School Junior Prom at Valley Brook Country Club, and it wasn't just the lights that glittered.
