Pittsburgh police have arrested a woman wanted for committing fraud and thefts in the South Hills. Amanda Krull, 23, was arrested on Thursday at a hotel in the city's Oakland area, interviewed by Pittsburgh police Zone 6 detectives and taken to the Allegheny County Jail. Krull, who had been known to frequent Whitehall and Brentwood boroughs and the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Carrick, Brookline and Sheraden, was wanted by the Pittsburgh police, West Mifflin Borough police and the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office. Krull was charged with theft and writing bad checks. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 17.
