Police Pull Gun on Woman in Baldwin Twp. Road Rage Incident

Woman Arrested in Road Rage Incident on Dewalt Drive A Baldwin Township police officer aimed his gun at a Dormont Borough woman at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday after she punched two other women in the face and ran her vehicle into a pedestrian, township police Chief Terrence P. O'Brien said. Baldwin Township police arrived at the scene of the incident—the intersection of Dewalt and Newport drives—after the Dormont woman—Amanda Marie Petrelli, 29, of Tennessee Avenue—had already punched the other two women, O'Brien said. All three women were involved in the same traffic accident at the intersection. Two Cited for Underage Drinking, One for DUI A Baldwin Borough police officer on patrol in south Baldwin at around 4:12 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, reported observing a motorist with an inoperable brake light turn left onto Curry Hollow Road from Keeport Drive without signaling. The officer pulled the motorist—Matthew Joseph Madden, 19, of 1223 McClure Ave., Apt. 1, in East McKeesport Borough—over on Curry Hollow, and upon approaching Madden and his passenger—Hailey Lynne Wootton, 18, of 5470 Youngridge Drive, Apt. 6, in Baldwin’s Leland Point Apartments complex—reported detecting the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Whitehall Policeman Chases Down Burglary Suspect on Foot; Suspect Climbed onto Roof

Suspect in Azalea Drive Burglaries Climbs onto Roof on Grove Road Whitehall Police Department officer Brett Newbould, who, earlier in 2011, was credited by Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko with uncovering those believed to be behind a string of break-ins at the South Hills Country Club, received another pat on the back from Danko on Tuesday. Danko reported to the Baldwin-Whitehall Patch that Newbould successfully chased down a burglary suspect on foot on Thursday, Nov. 3.
