And other Whitehall Borough police stories from July.
Bad Dogs! (Still) Whitehall Borough police officers went to the 500 block of Greenlee Road at around 5:08 p.m. on Wednesday in response to a report that two dogs were running loose there. "This is obviously, in the scope of the world, not up there with major crimes," Dolfi said, "but it is a potentially dangerous situation and a nuisance." Whitehall police are charging Grande with violating a borough ordinance that prohibits dogs and cats from running at large. And Dolfi said that his department is also pursuing charges based on state animal control laws. "It's totally getting out …

Three other drug incidents in the borough this past week, and more items.
Whitehall Man Charged with Heroin Possession on Curry Road A driver called police at around 4:28 p.m. on Friday to report that another motorist was driving erratically while heading south down Route 51. The erratic driver turned onto Provost Road in Whitehall Borough and eventually reached Curry Road before before being stopped there by Whitehall police officers. The driver—Michael Ryan Graziano, 32, of 4844 Old Boston Rd. in Whitehall—passed field-sobriety tests but was found by officers to be in possession of eight partially opened bags of suspected heroin, as well as syringes, Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. I am sympathetic to all things animal related. However, roaming dogs cannot be condoned. Our family cat, Rhonda, is assumed to have gone missing due to roaming dogs in my old neighborhood. We cannot be sure if Rhonda was injured or if she ran off with one of the dogs to start a separate family but it has been 26 years and I am pretty sure that either way, Rhonda is dead. Please keep everyone safe…   more ›
