Assault, Three DUIs in Baldwin Township

Police notes from June 1-7.

Baldwin Township Man Arrested for Simple Assault Baldwin Township police came to 3001 Jameson Dr. at around 7:48 a.m. on Sunday in response to reports of violence. Township police Sgt. Marty Conroy said that officers at the scene determined that a disagreement between Raymond R. Marcione Jr., 34, of that address, and another person escalated to the point where Marcione assaulted the second person, Conroy said. Police arrested Marcione and are charging him with simple assault related to the incident. (UPDATE: The charge was withdrawn on Oct. 30.) Mt. Lebo Man Stopped for DUI Baldwin Township police stopped motorist Mack McGuffey, 36, of 492 Milbeth Dr. in Mt. Lebanon, for driving erratically near the intersection of Dewalt Drive and …
