when have you seen him get very involved with the band? when I was at any event for the band for my little cousin I only saw him standing around talking. and to me he is more into getting popularity points than really caring for our community and the kids. Schmotzer Gives End-of-Term Speech in PA House

The former Baldwin-Whitehall School Board member will soon be replaced in the state Legislature by Erin Molchany.

State Rep. Martin Michael Schmotzer gave a farewell speech in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Tuesday as his term representing the 22nd Legislative District comes to a close on Nov. 30. "I want to thank my dedicated staff back in Pittsburgh: former chief of staff Janine Palmer, current chief of staff Ryan Buzzelli, legislative assistants Ray Rosing and Melvin Pollard and former intern Elliot Rambo," said Schmotzer, a Democrat from Whitehall Borough whose district includes part of Whitehall and all of Baldwin Township. Baldwin Seniors Need Your Help to 'Rock' Their Prom

A vote for Baldwin through April 28 could bring $500 to the seniors.

Baldwin High School's senior class President Elliot Rambo is asking for your help in "rocking" his class' prom. Century III Mall in nearby West Mifflin Borough will award $500 for Baldwin High's prom this year if Baldwin can rack up the most votes in Century III's "Rock Your Prom" Facebook contest. Anyone with a Facebook account can vote for Baldwin by visting the Century III Facebook page from now until April 28 and clicking on "Rock Your Prom." And if you don't have a Facebook account, you can create one for free by clicking here. There is no cost to enter, but only one vote is allowed per computer.
