The deputy chief said that Korach admitted to smoking marijuana and that that's what set off his alarm. …

The plants were located between East Willock and Doyle roads.
Acting on an anonymous tip, Whitehall Borough police officers discovered marijuana seedlings in a large wooded area in the rear of the 4900 block of East Willock Road at around 7:51 a.m. on Wednesday. Whitehall police Chief Donald R. Dolfi said that the plants—one of which stretched to about 2 feet tall—appeared to be there for cultivation and use. Municipal workers from Whitehall removed the plants—about 10 of them—and destroyed them, Dolfi said. Officers talked to people in the vicinity of the discovery, which stretches from East Willock to Doyle Road, but have not able to determine who planted the controlled substance. The incident is under investigation. Read through other Whitehall police items here. --- Follow the Baldwin-Whitehall …
