Another Act of Violence at Whitehall School

Disorderly conduct and terroristic threats charges have been filed.

Cornell Jaquay Brown, an 18-year-old student at Wesley Spectrum Highland Services in Whitehall Borough, has been charged with disorderly conduct and making terroristic threats from his actions at the school on Jan. 8, Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko said. Danko said that Whitehall police officers responded to the Highland Services building at around 1:56 that afternoon to find the 6-foot-6, 300-pound Brown punching things and making threats to school staff members, damaging numerous pieces of school property in the process.  After about 45 minutes of police presence, Brown settled down, Danko said, and was placed on a bus to be sent home. Whitehall Burglar Gets 5-10 Years

Police chased Plack onto a roof along Grove Road in November 2011.

The man whom Whitehall Borough police officers chased onto a roof along Grove Road a little over a year ago has been sentenced to 5-10 years of confinement for burglarizing homes near Whitehall's Caste Village area. Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Judge Donald E. Machen issued that sentence to Jonathan Patrick Plack, 31, of 406 Meeting House Rd. in South Fayette Township, on Tuesday. Plack pleaded guilty on July 9 to Whitehall police's charges of burglary (two counts) and theft, resisting arrest and possession of an instrument of crime with intent to employ it criminally (one count each). Teen Charged with Assault at Whitehall School

The 18-year-old is accused of attacking a secretary and a nurse.

Christopher James Verdoni, an 18-year-old student at Wesley Spectrum Highland Services in Whitehall Borough, has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and making terroristic threats from his actions at the school on Thursday morning, Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko said. Danko said that Whitehall police officers responded to the Highland Services building at around 11:10 that morning. Two of the school's staff members—a nurse and a secretary—told police that they were injured there while attempting to control Verdoni. The employees said that Verdoni punched one of them in the back of the head/neck area and threw the other against a wall, according to Danko. Verdoni, who lives at 900 Manor Dr. in Collier …

They will probably admit him back into the Baldwin-Whitehall School District, this seems to be the standard set in place. Caste Village Giant Eagle Robbery Leads Area Police on Search

A man is charged again with doing something for the second time in just over a year.

A man with a history of stealing from the Giant Eagle in Whitehall Borough's Caste Village is charged with doing the same thing again after he led police from Whitehall and Castle Shannon boroughs, and Bethel Park, on a search for him through Whitehall on Saturday. Brenton Fawcett, 37, of 353 Brookline Blvd., was arrested that day and taken to the Allegheny County Jail on charges of robbery, receiving stolen property, retail theft and defiant trespass for stealing DVDs and other merchandise from Giant Eagle at around 1:03 p.m., Whitehall police Chief Donald R.
