Like I said way earlier, this is a list of DUI arrest matters, not ALL arrests or all police action. If you recall, DUIs used to be published in the Pittsburgh papers. Now they seem to be published on the internet. Has NOTHING to do with what the sum total of the actions of our police force are.   more ›

Responses needed to hear concerns and preferences.

Students from Carnegie Mellon University's Master of Urban Design program are partnering with representatives of Economic Development South (EDS) this spring to improve bus stops on Route 51 and enhance the accessibility of neighborhoods along that corridor, according to an EDS news release. The survey (available here) is anonymous and takes about five minutes. EDS is a nonprofit community development corporation serving Brentwood, Whitehall and Baldwin boroughs and the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Carrick and Overbrook. EDS is committed to facilitating investment and reinvestment, creating jobs…

Linda you are so lucky not to have the port authority where you live. You are so much better off without them. I wish we could get rid of them in Carrick.....all they do is beg for tax payer money and government grants......raise prices(they are riduculous) and cut service to a bare minimum. The drivers are overweight lazy and so overpaid that it isn't even funny. I have been considering moving …   more ›

Mr. Fullerton, I commend you vehemently. Rather than play the proverbial “criminal lying game”, you admitted to recently drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana. Good for you to recognize that your goose had been cooked (if I may be so bold). This reminds me of the time that Uncle Helix was so inebriated, we were able to make him admit that he wears lady pants. Haha…lol….never again did he drink …   more ›
