UPDATES: Missing Canonsburg Woman Found Dead in Rostraver

Police found the body of 43-year-old Murphy Jane Hickerson in a Westmoreland County mall parking lot on Wednesday morning.

UPDATES in bold. Rostraver police said no foul play is suspected at this time but are awaiting the results of an autopsy and toxicology tests to determine the cause of death. The Canonsburg Borough woman missing since April 28 has been found dead in a Westmoreland County mall parking lot. Authorities found the body of 43-year-old Murphy Jane Hickerson in a parked car shortly before 6 a.m. (changed from 8 a.m.) on Wednesday, Canonsburg police Sgt. Don Cross said. The car was parked outside of a Gabriel Brothers clothing store in Rostraver Township. "At this point, we don't know what happened or how it occurred," Cross said. He said that Hickerson's family has been notified and that Rostraver police are continuing to investigate the death. …

Ex-Boyfriend of Stabbed Baldwin Woman Charged with Homicide

Jordan Clemons was charged with that and other offenses on Monday.

State police in Washington, PA, charged a Canonsburg Borough man with homicide on Monday, online court records show. Jordan Clemons, 22, was charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, access device fraud and other offenses. Clemons' attorney, Peter Marcoline III, confirmed to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the charges stem from the death of Karissa Kunco—a Baldwin Borough woman who was reported missing on Jan. 11. Kunco was found stabbed to death in a wooded area in Mt. Pleasant Township on Jan. 12. Her death was ruled a homicide, and Clemons was sought as a person of interest in the case. Clemons turned himself into police on Jan. 13 and was jailed on robbery and burglary charges …

Person of Interest in Homicide Arraigned on Unrelated Charges

District Judge David Mark set Jordan Clemons' bail at $250,000. The former Canonsburg man is already in jail after being unable to post a $250,000 bond on burglary and robbery charges.

A man whom police call a person of interest in a Baldwin Borough woman's stabbing death was arraigned on unrelated charges on Tuesday morning. Jordan Clemons, 22, formerly of Canonsburg Borough, had been charged by Canonsburg police on Friday with escape and fleeing offenses. Those charges stem from a robbery and burglary at a Tannehill Street home on Jan. 8. District Judge David Mark set Clemons' bond at $250,000. Clemons was already in the Washington County Jail on $250,000 from the burglary and robbery charges. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 25 in Central Court in Washington, PA. Clemons became a person of interest in the death of his ex-girlfriend, Karissa Kunco, whose body was found in Mt. Pleasant Township…

Police File Two More Charges Against Clemons

Clemons, wanted for questioning in the death of Karissa Kunco, was jailed on unrelated charges—and additional charges were added on Friday.

A former Canonsburg Borough man wanted for questioning in the death of a Baldwin Borough woman was jailed on $250,000 bond early on Friday for unrelated charges—and two more charges have been filed against him as of Friday afternoon. Jordan Clemons, 22, who lists a Pittsburgh address as his home, was charged by Canonsburg police on Thursday for felony counts of robbery and burglary, as well as assault and theft, online court documents show. On Friday, he was also charged by Canonsburg police with one felony count of flight to avoid apprehension/trial/punishment and two counts of escape, a misdemeanor. State Police: Body Found Was Missing Baldwin Woman's

Karissa Kunco's body was found in Mt. Pleasant Township on Thursday afternoon.

The body found in Mt. Pleasant Township on Thursday afternoon has been identified as that of a missing woman from Baldwin Borough—Karissa Kunco. Kunco lived on Oakleaf Road in Baldwin and grew up in Pittsburgh's Brookline neighborhood. Pennsylvania State police in Washington County announced during a press conference that Kunco's body was found near Sabo Road “where several men doing land surveying in the area had found the body of a white female laying just off the roadway.” The cause of death given by Washington County Coroner Timothy S. Warco was a knife wound. Warco ruled it a homicide.
