South Side, Brentwood Men Arrested on DUI Charges in Baldwin

Two traffic stories from this past weekend.

Stay in the Car Next Time A Baldwin Borough police officer who recognized a motorist on Becks Run Road at around 3:09 a.m. on Saturday as possibly not having a valid driver's license turned out to be right. The officer, while following the vehicle and checking on the status of the driver—Kevin John Kubiczki Jr., 18, of Arlington Avenue in Pittsburgh's South Side Slopes neighborhood—learned that Kubiczki was driving with a suspended license. Kubiczki turned from Becks Run onto Madeline Street in the Carrick neighborhood and headed toward Brownsville Road at an unusually slow rate of speed, the officer reported, before he was pulled over near Carrick's Madeline-Brownsville intersection.
