South Baldwin Volunteer Fire Company

Flag as Inappropriate

The South Baldwin Volunteer Fire Company was founded on March 17, 1959 and still occupies the same spot today. In many ways, not much has changed; the company still relies on volunteers, and those volunteers are still as dedicated and as brave as anyone that you'd find in their communities. The company is much more modernized now and boasts two E-One Hush Pumpers as part of its fleet. There are 34 active firefighters at the South Baldwin Volunteer Fire Company and 13 "b" members, according to the company's web site. These firefighters respond to area fires 24-hours a day and seven days a week and run a number of community activities, including fire drills.
