Baldwin is fortunate to have such a top-notch nursery/greenhouse. So before you support the big-box stores, take a drive to Chapons and see all of the great stuff they have on offer: Houseplants, cacti/succulents, outdoor plants, trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, pond supplies, bird-food, yard decorations, bulk landscaping, knick-knacks, seasonal gifts, seed-starters, Xmas trees/decorations, grass seed, and plenty more. You will often find rare & interesting plant species that the big-box stores never carry. And ask questions, because these folks have been here for a good while & are really very nice and approachable. For me, it is the best plant destination in the South Hills.
