We've gone to the dogs!

It’s August and the Whitehall Public Library has gone to the dogs! The Dog Days of August are here and those dogs are headed straight to the library!  As part of this year’s Community Day celebration, the Whitehall Public Library and the Whitehall Community Lions Club are welcoming Daisy, Truman, Benny, Kallie, Izzy and Tinker, Courtney, Penny, and Dizzy, certified therapy dogs. They’ll be in the Borough’s Community Room from 1:00 to 2:30, just wagging and waiting to greet children of all ages.  You can share a book and a cuddle with these amazing furry friends, and then stick around for dog-related music, movies, crafts, refreshments, displays and more—so dog-gonnit don’t be late!

And hey-We’re gearing up for our canine celebrities by sharing photos of all of our favorite four-footed family members. We’re posting them on the HUGE Snoopy Doghouse just inside of the library’s entrance. So become a ‘puparazzi’ yourself and snap a photo of your family pooch for the library!
