TIX STILL AVAILABLE: Comedy Night Comes to Leland Park Community Center

SlapSticks Productions! will bring another night of comedy to Baldwin-Whitehall, this time at the  on April 14 for the benefit of the .

The -owned Leland Center sits next to Leland Park on Wolfe Drive in south Baldwin. Tickets cost $20 each, and doors open for the event at 6:30 p.m. for complimentary snacks, desserts, coffee and drink mixers. The show, named "Laughs for the Library," starts at 7:30.

The event is BYOB and is only for those aged 21 and older.

Comedian Lisa Dapprich—known in Pittsburgh as the host of "Date Night TV"—will host the April 14 show, which will also feature comedians David Michael and headliner Chuck Krieger, who grew up in Brentwood and  boroughs and did regular gigs at The Funny Bone in Pittsburgh in the early 1990s.

Tickets are on sale now at the Baldwin Library, which can be found inside of the on Macek Drive. Call 412-885-2255 to see if seats are available.

The Baldwin Library has outgrown its three-room space in the Wallace Building and has put this comedy show together to help raise funds for its  in north Baldwin.
