VIDEOS: 8-Year-Old Baldwin Girl Out-Wrestles Boys

'Maleah the Mauler' has been a force for Baldwin youth wrestling.

Girls just want to have fun. And sometimes, that means beating up boys.

OK, not exactly beating them up—but at least beating them.

Maleah Pacella, a third-grader from W.R. Paynter Elementary School in Baldwin Borough, has been a force to be reckoned with this season for the Baldwin youth wrestling program.

Just watch the videos in the media gallery above for proof.

Competing against males most of the time, Maleah, whose family lives in north Baldwin, has gone 12-1 in the Keystone Wrestling League this season, according to an article in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

She was even invited to participate in a girls state championships event recently in New Jersey and went 4-1 in that tournament, losing only to the state champion, who was two years older and nine pounds heavier.

Pacella could have quite a future in girls wrestling, but for now, the story has really been her success against boys, as evidenced in the above videos.

Unfortunately, an arm injury may have ended Maleah's 2012-13 season. The Pacellas are seeking a second opinion on the injury, though, and if she can continue, a girls national championship event is scheduled for March 23-25. Maleah has been invited.

Either way, she'll be back next winter.

Boys beware.
