Purple & White Games Will 'Kick Off' Baldwin-Whitehall Soccer Seasons
The games are part of a larger event on Aug. 17.
The first-ever "Purple & White" Baldwin-Whitehall soccer games, designed to kick off, literally, Baldwin High School's 2013 boys and girls soccer seasons will take place on Aug. 17 at Baldwin Stadium.
The high school's junior varsity and varsity girls teams will play one another at 5 p.m. that day, followed by a 7:30 jayvee-versus-varsity boys game, and the first 100 fans in attendance at this free-admission event will receive free spirit gear.
In addition, youth teams from the Baldwin-Whitehall Soccer Association will play each other between the high school games and at halftime of those games, the stadium's concessions stand will be open, and a 50-50 raffle will be held.
