REMINDER: Borough of Whitehall 5K Race to Close Part of Brownsville Road on Aug. 27
Road will be closed between McAnulty and Streets Run that Saturday morning. Several bus stops affected.
's annual 5,000-meter race and 1-mile fun walk will cause part of Brownsville Road, from McAnulty Road to Streets Run Road, to be closed from approximately 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27.
The race is part of Whitehall's 2011 Community Day celebration ("A Whitehall Borough Hoedown"), which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day and includes live performances, food booths, informational vendors, raffles, prize giveaways and more.

All Port Authority of Allegheny County bus stops from Knoedler Road to Baptist Road will be discontinued on Aug. 27 during that time period.
