Baldwin's Brian Dee Wins PIHL Player of the Week Award

The sophomore received over 450 Facebook votes.

Baldwin High School's sophomore forward Brian Dee scored four straight goals, including a natural hat trick to open the third period, during Baldwin's 9-2 win over Altoona Area High School on Feb. 1.

The feat earned Dee the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL)'s Player of the Week award, as revealed on TribLIVE Radio on Wednesday. Public voting for the award—done on the PIHL's Facebook page—resulted in over 450 votes for Dee.

He beat out 14 other players for the award.

Dee has notched 15 goals and 26 points in just 10 games this season for a 10-5-1 Baldwin team that is two points behind Greensburg Salem and Keystone Oaks high schools for first place in the PIHL Open Class' Section 4.

Baldwin has four games still to play this regular season.
