Pantuso's son, Phil, a senior, held the Bible for each swearing-in session.

Fischer, Kazour, DiNardo, Macek, Rosing and Pantuso join existing board members George L. Pry, Nancy Lee Crowder and John B. Schmotzer as B-W school directors.

As part of the reorganizing process, the nine-person board then elected, for one year, a president, first vice president and second vice president.

Pantuso nominated Schmotzer for the presidency, and the board voted unanimously to approve that motion.

Schmotzer replaces Pry as the board's president. Pry informed fellow B-W board members and the public that he would not be seeking another term as board president due to recently accepting a position as Chair of Carlow University's Board of Trustees.

After the board elected Schmotzer as its president, Pry nominated Fischer to remain as the board's first vice president, and DiNardo nominated Kazour to remain as its second vice president.

Both of those motions also passed unanimously.

Lawrence Back as Solicitor

The board also elected back as the school district's solicitor. Pry motioned to do so, and that motion passed unanimously.

Lawrence will serve his 36th year as the district's solicitor.

He is a representative of Tucker|Arensberg Attorneys.
