Statement from 'Committee to Build a Better Board'

Committee member Tracy Macek led all Baldwin-Whitehall School Board candidates in votes.

The  entered Election Day seeking four spots on the Baldwin-Whitehall School Board but earned just in the person of Tracy Macek. Fellow committee members Marion M. Shannon, Richard J. Kirsch and Lora J. Kalwarski fell short.

Macek led all candidates in votes and will join newly elected Larry Pantuso and Ray Rosing of the committee on the B-W School Board when they are all sworn in to their seats on Dec. 7.

The "Better Board" committee issued this statement following the election:

"The Committee to Build a Better Board would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all of the voters of the . We appreciate you taking the time to vote and recognize the importance of your vote in a school board election.

"We have received such an overwhelming amount of support during this election and would like to personally thank each of you who supported us and believed in our vision.
