PHOTOS: Int'l Winter Celebration at Young Scholars Charter School

Students learn about Christmas, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, Chinese New Year, Hanukkah, Eid, Three Kings Day and more.

Students at the Young Scholars of Western Pennsylvania Charter School in Baldwin Township are exposed to cultural diversity perhaps more than any other children in the area.

And that was never more true than on Thursday afternoon when the school hosted an International Winter Celebration.

Students learned about an array of holiday traditions that day, including ones from Christmas, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, Chinese New Year, Hanukkah, Eid, Three Kings Day and more.
