Jay West Out, Robin Duff in as B-W's Food Service Director

ARAMARK employee resigned as the 's Food Service Director approximately two weeks ago, according to William D. McKain, B-W's assistant to the superintendent for finance and operations.

ARAMARK's replacement for Baldwin-Whitehall is Robin Duff, who was introduced to the B-W School Board at a meeting on Wednesday night.

McKain and Duff heard a number of concerns from meeting attendants on Wednesday, including some from school board members Laurencine Romack and Nancy Lee Crowder, who said that they heard reports of excessively long lines, children eating while sitting on the floor and some advertised food items not being available.

McKain and Duff asked for patience through the first few weeks of this school year to get issues ironed out, especially with Duff only recently coming aboard.

Crowder asked Principal Kevin J. O'Toole specifically about students eating on the floor of a cafeteria at Baldwin High.

O'Toole said that he believed that that never happened, but Crowder assured him that it did. Crowder did not say how she knew that that happened.
