The school was built with two rooms, and the principal at one time was Elizabeth Bagshaw, who taught and served as the principal at many of Baldwin's schools.

There were three teachers at this school, and at one time, the enrollment was 82 pupils ranging from kindergarten to second grade.

The building is still standing.
