B-W Council of PTA Announces 2011-12 Meeting Dates

Everyone is invited to attend. First date is Sept. 8.

The Baldwin-Whitehall Council of PTA, which includes PTA/PTSA units from ,  and , will hold nine meetings during the 2011-12 school year. The council meets at Baldwin High, Room 322, on either the first or second Thursday of every month at 9:30 a.m. (SCHEDULE CHANGE: No meeting in December.)

Each meeting, set for Sept. 8, Oct. 6, Nov. 3, Jan. 5, Feb. 2, March 1, April 12 and May 10, is expected to last approximately two hours.

The council has special instructions for arriving at the meetings. The council asks that you come to BHS' pool entrance by 9:15 a.m. (located in the South Lot). A security guard will meet the meeting's attendants there as a group and then escort them to Room 322.

If you arrive after 9:15 a.m. or you see that the security guard is not at the South Lot, you must still park in the South Lot but must enter the high school using its main entrance. Once there, you must sign in with a security guard and proceed to Room 322 yourself.

Either way, your vehicle must be out of the South Lot by 1:15 p.m. to allow the entrance of school buses.
