Al Stock, of , wrote a Jan. 12 letter to the editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that is critical of Allegheny County's property reassessments.
"How incompetent can the new assessments be?" Stock writes, pointing out that a parking spot in Pittsburgh's Mount Washington neighborhood was assessed at $287,800.
"The owner of this parking spot will need to take time off from work to appeal this totally ridiculous piece of 'work,'" Stock writes. " ... They (county reassessments) should all be thrown out, along with the organization that produced them."
