Special Baldwin Boro Meeting Monday Night on Sewer Repairs

The meeting will start at 6.

The Baldwin Council will hold a special meeting at the borough municipal complex along Churchview Avenue on Monday night at 6 to discuss sewer repairs in the borough.

A presentation will be made by a team of engineers from Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering regarding how to address what borough Manager John Barrett calls "some unique repairs."

Some residents' structures are on top of the sewer lines in question. And borough Public Works Director Mark Stephenson said during a March council meeting that a manhole is even inside of one Baldwin house.

A project to make the repairs will be put out to bid in the coming weeks or maybe later, Barrett said.

The special meeting, which is open to the public, will be held in the council chambers of the municipal building, but should circumstances dictate, it would be moved to the municipal auditorium of the same building.
