Replacement Sought for Baldwin Township Manager

Mary McGinley is retiring in January.

Baldwin Township in Allegheny County is seeking candidates for its municipal manager/secretary position.

Longtime township Manager Mary McGinley is retiring from that position in January 2013. (UPDATE: McGinley will remain employed for an unspecified amount of time in order to assist with the hiring of a new manager.)

The manager/secretary oversees all day-to-day operations of the township.

Applicants for the opening must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in public management, public administration or a related field, and prior local government management experience in budgeting, finance, personnel, collective bargaining, public works and public safety. Good written communication and computer skills are necessary, as well.

The manager/secretary's place of work would be the Baldwin Township Municipal Building on Community Park Drive.
