REMINDER: Local Municipal Leaders to Hold Reorganizing Sessions on Jan. 3

Officials from Baldwin Borough, Whitehall Borough and Baldwin Township will elect their inner leaders.

As the calendars change, so will the heads of publically elected leadership groups in Baldwin Borough, Whitehall Borough and Baldwin Township.

The Baldwin and Whitehall borough councils, as well as the Baldwin Township Board of Commissioners, will each hold reorganizing sessions on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

The processes will each move much like by the Baldwin-Whitehall School Board in that new officials—such as presidents and vice presidents—will be innerly elected after new, publically elected board/council members take office.

In Baldwin and Whitehall boroughs, all , but in Baldwin Township, will join the board of commissioners for the first time.

The reorganizing schedules are as follows.

  • Baldwin Borough: Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 8 p.m. in the auditorium.
  • Whitehall Borough: Jan. 3 at 8 p.m. in the council chambers.
  • Baldwin Township: Jan. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room.
