I love this town and wake up every day determined to make my home better, safer and more prosperous. I have done this for my whole career and will bring this high level of commitment to a life in public service.

I came to Pittsburgh for school, fell in love with the city and never left. I worked my way through college, and for the past 15 years, have worked tirelessly in the non-profit sector.

I have worked for the American Red Cross, advocated for women's health and directed community leadership trainings at Pittsburgh's Coro Center for Civic Leadership.

In 2006, I was elected Vice President of the Mount Washington Community Development Corporation, where I advocated for economic development and a thriving business district.

For the past six years, I have worked to retain young people by connecting them to our community and encouraging them to stay and invest in Pittsburgh's growth and success. As Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP), I understand the commitment it takes to make Pittsburgh stronger and vibrant.

I have worked with nonprofits and community groups to improve the quality of life for our friends and neighbors. I understand that a partnership between good government and our neighborhoods will bring creative solutions home.

I have fought to give people a voice in government so decisions it makes help everyone. We have a big opportunity to continue to make our community better this year. With dedication and commitment, vision and patience, we can do so much.
