Whitehall Woman Arrested
A officer stopped motorist Amy Tray, 38, of 3400 Margaret St. in , on Route 88 in Pittsburgh's Overbrook neighborhood for driving without working taillights on Saturday.
The officer made the stop after observing Tray turn right onto Route 88 from 's 100 block of McNeilly Road at around 12:40 a.m. The officer smelled alcohol coming from Tray and observed other signs of intoxication, Baldwin police Sgt. Marty Conroy said.
Tray failed field-sobriety tests and was arrested and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. She was then taken to the Mt. Lebanon police station for a blood test as part of Baldwin's cooperation with the Mt. Lebanon Area DUI Task Force. Results of that test are pending.
Theft at McNeilly Nails & Tanning
An employee of the shop on McNeilly Road contacted Baldwin Township police at around 7:35 on Tuesday night after discovering that an iPad belonging to the shop was missing.
The employee said that a particular female customer visiting the shop that day may have taken the device from a shared sitting area, according to Conroy. Conroy said that police are investigating and have located a person of interest.
