Whitehall Man Charged in Gambling Ring Arrests

He is one of 16 people arrested in connection to the Monongahela Valley operation.

A Whitehall Borough man has been arrested in connection with an alleged illegal gambling ring.

Terence P. McNelis, 52, of McAnulty Drive, is charged with one count of corrupt organization, one count of dealing in proceeds of illegal activity, one count of lotteries, one count of pool selling and bookmaking, and one count of conspiracy, according to a news release.


McNelis is one of 16 people whom state Attorney General Kathleen Kane charged today in connection to the Monongahela Valley operation.

Also charged with various offenses are the Forward Township police chief, a McKeesport city councilman and two former McKeesport police officers, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
