Missing Tools?

On June 28 at approximately 9:18 a.m., a police officer came across a number of contractor tools lying in the middle of the Brownsville Road, Baptist Road and Provost Road intersection.

The officer took the tools back to the and is asking area residents to come forward to claim the tools if they can provide proof of ownership.

Broken Vehicle Window on Curry Road

On June 29 at approximately 8:02 a.m., a resident from the 4700 block of Curry Road called police to report that the rear window of the resident's vehicle was broken sometime between 8:30 p.m. on June 28 and 7:30 a.m. on June 29.

The car was parked in the victim's driveway. The victim could not come up with a motive as to why his or her vehicle was targeted.

Underage Drinking, Sick Girl at Snyder Park

On July 1 at approximately 3:14 a.m., police responded to a report from a resident in the 200 block of Southvue Drive. A resident there said that he or she heard someone calling for an ambulance somewhere in nearby .

When officers arrived at that park, they reported discovering three juveniles—two females and one male—in possession of alcohol there.

The officers determined that one of the females had gotten sick from drinking too much and summoned medics from , who arrived and transported the girl to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The parents of all three juveniles, aged 16 to 17 years old, were notified, and the teens were cited for underage drinking.

Underage Drinking, Part II

On July 2 at approximately 12:19 a.m., Whitehall police officers came across a man walking near the Doyle Road and Frich Drive intersection in what Whitehall police Chief Donald R. Dolfi called a "very unsteady gait."

When the officers stopped to investigate, they reported finding the man—Christopher Anderson, 19, of 103 W. Bellecrest Ave. in Brentwood Borough—to be under the influence of alcohol.

Anderson was transported to the Whitehall police station before being released to a family member. Police are citing Anderson for underage drinking and public intoxication.

Juvenile with Marijuana on High School Property

On July 4 at 1:06 a.m, police responded to a number of calls from the and Doyle area reporting that multiple individuals had been running through residents' yards there and making excessive noise.

When police reported to the scene with a K-9 unit, they came into contact with two 16-year-old males near the Baldwin High tennis courts. Dolfi said that one of the males tossed a small amount of marijuana on the ground.

The officers eventually placed the boys in the custody of their parents.

The boy whom police say tossed the marijuana to the ground is being charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Ambridge Man with Outstanding Warrant Found in Whitehall

On July 4 at approximately 12:02 p.m., Whitehall officers came across a vehicle operating in what Dolfi called a "suspicious manner" at the  and Whitehall Towers areas near the Route 51 and Streets Run Road intersection.

When police determined the identity of the driver of the vehicle—Larry David Knouse, 44, of 1745 Woodside Drive in Ambridge Borough—they found that Knouse had an outstanding warrant in Butler County stemming from a failure-to-appear offense.

The officers took Knouse into into custody until representatives of the Butler County Sheriff's Office picked him up.

Slashed Tires on Windvale Drive

On July 4 at approximately 12:30 p.m., a resident of Windvale Drive reported that two tires on his vehicle were slashed during the night before.

The resident said that his vehicle was parked in his neighbor's driveway in the 60 block of Windvale at the time of the incident. The victim has provided police with a person of interest in the Whitehall police's investigation, which is pending.

The estimated value of the tires was approximately $160 total.
