Traffic Stop Leads to Possession Charge in Baldwin Township

Pleasant Hills man arrested after prescription painkillers found during a search of his vehicle.

A police officer stopped motorist James Joseph Rosing, 31, of 550 Old Clairton Rd. in Pleasant Hills Borough, at around 1:47 a.m. on Sunday.

The officer noticed Rosing speeding in the township's 400 block of McNeilly Road and eventually pulled him over near the intersection of Dewalt Drive and Pearce Road, according to  Sgt. Marty Conroy.

The officer discovered that Rosing's driver's license was under suspension and arranged to have his vehicle towed away. The officer then searched Rosing's vehicle and came across pills wrapped in a cellophane bag.
