Three DUI Arrests in Baldwin Township

Incidents include a Whitehall man charged with resisting arrest in ALDI parking lot.

ALDI Parking Lot Arrest

arrested Jeffrey Marston, 21, of Frich Drive in , at around 3:01 a.m. on March 18 on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. UPDATE: The resisting arrest charge was .

Martson was behind the driver's wheel of a running vehicle in the parking lot at the intersection of McNeilly Road and Sussex Avenue that morning, police records show, when an officer reported smelling alcohol coming from the vehicle.

Other DUI Arrest

police arrested Jeffrey Colaizzi, 30, of Vernon Avenue on the border of Brentwood and boroughs, at around 1:18 a.m. on March 22 after Colaizzi was stopped by an officer for speeding and swerving near the McNeilly-Sussex intersection.

The officer reported smelling alcohol coming from Colaizzi's vehicle and that Colaizzi failed field-sobriety tests. He also reported finding drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana inside of Colaizzi's vehicle.

Police are charging him with possession of those items in addition to suspicion of DUI.

Baldwin Township police, in cooperation with the Mt. Lebanon Area DUI Task Force, arrested Christopher Kasonde, 33, of Sleepy Hollow Road in Castle Shannon Borough, at around 2:11 a.m. on March 24 after an officer stopped him for swerving in the 400 and 100 blocks of McNeilly.

The officer reported smelling alcohol coming from Kasonde's vehicle and that Kasonde failed field-sobriety tests.

Police are charging him with suspicion of DUI.
