State Police: Body Found Was Missing Baldwin Woman's

Karissa Kunco's body was found in Mt. Pleasant Township on Thursday afternoon.

The  has been identified as that of a missing woman from —Karissa Kunco.

Kunco lived on Oakleaf Road in Baldwin and grew up in Pittsburgh's Brookline neighborhood.

Pennsylvania State police in Washington County announced during a press conference that Kunco's body was found near Sabo Road “where several men doing land surveying in the area had found the body of a white female laying just off the roadway.”

The cause of death given by Washington County Coroner Timothy S. Warco was a knife wound. Warco ruled it a homicide.

 on Gladden Road in  at about 9:30 a.m.—several hours after state police had received an alert to be on the lookout for the woman, who was reported as missing by the .

Wanted for questioning in the incident is 22-year-old Jordan Alexander Clemons—a 5-foot-10-inch, 165-pound black man with light skin and freckles.

Clemons also has an active warrant for burglary, robbery, theft and assault that was filed by the . Those charges stem from an alleged incident in Canonsburg on Sunday.

There is also an active warrant for his arrest through Washington County Adult Probation.

State police indicated that officers had possible locations for Clemons, including a home near Mt. Pleasant that numerous media outlets reported was surrounded by officers yelling for the man to come out of the building.
