Results from Magisterial District Court 05-2-18

Judge Bova's jurisdiction includes Baldwin Borough.

The following results are from recent hearings held in the  office of Magistrate John N. Bova of District Court 05-2-18:

 

  •  charged Brian George Dunn, 29, of 228 Bunker Hill Drive in Peters Township, with on Oct. 15. Bova held Dunn's charges at a Nov. 29 hearing, and Dunn will face those charges at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 18.

  • police charged Timothy Allen Ray, 41, of 423 1/2 Kirk Ave. in Pittsburgh's Carrick neighborhood, with on Sept. 19. Ray's Dec. 6 hearing before Bova was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 25.

 

  • Baldwin police charged Keith John Wallace, 46, of 4700 Doverdell Drive in , with on Oct. 30. Wallace's Dec. 6 hearing before Bova was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 25.

  • Baldwin police charged Erika L. Wodarek, 40, of 5934 Dashwood Drive in Bethel Park, with  on June 26. Wodarek's , and she faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 2. Wodarek then faced a , where it was determined that she will have a non-jury trial starting on March 26. UPDATE: Rescheduled for Nov. 15.

 

  • Baldwin police charged William Raymond Kubiak, 24, of 2605 Patterson St. in Pittsburgh's South Side area, with on Nov. 3. Kubiak's Dec. 13 hearing before Bova was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Feb. 1.

 

  • Baldwin police charged Cody William Waigand, 21, of 2924 Custer Ave. in Baldwin Borough, with  on Oct. 2. The possession of drug paraphernalia and summary traffic violations were , but Waigand faced the DUI charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Dec. 14. He was granted an accelerated rehabilitative disposition (ARD) hearing to begin on Jan. 27. UPDATE: Rescheduled for March 23.

 

  • Baldwin police charged Joseph William Fahy III, 35, of 3130 Vernon Ave., Apt. 1, in Baldwin Borough, with  on July 17. Fahy's , and he faced those charges at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Oct. 17, where it was determined that his case would be part of a . The failure to obey a stop sign charge was then withdrawn, but Fahy pled guilty to the DUI charge and was sentenced to four days of confinement.

 

  • Baldwin police charged Yvonne Vukovcan, 46, of 929 Monroe Ave. in Port Vue Borough, with on Sept. 30. Vukovcan's charges were held before Bova on Dec. 20, and she will face those charges at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Feb. 8.

 

  • Baldwin police charged Jay Walter Jones, 49, of 616 Penn St. in Baldwin Borough, with on Nov. 2. Jones' Dec. 20 hearing before Bova was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Feb. 8.

 

  • Baldwin police charged Donald M. Roth, 48, of 641 Penn in Baldwin Borough, with  on Aug. 23. Roth's , and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Dec. 28, where it was determined that his case will now be part of a docket conference scheduled for Jan. 30. That conference should result in the next legal step for Roth's charge.

 

  • Baldwin police charged James John Tapocik Jr., 23, of 815 Burbridge St. in Port Vue, with on Oct. 15. Tapocik's Dec. 13 hearing before Bova was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Feb. 1. UPDATE: Rescheduled for March 27.
