Results from Magisterial District Court 05-2-17

Judge Barton's jurisdiction includes Whitehall Borough and Baldwin Township.

The following results are from recent hearings held in the  office of Magistrate David J. Barton of District Court 05-2-17:

 

  • Cindy Inverso, 46, of Magnolia Court in Bethel Park, faced charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to obey a stop sign and failing to stay on the right side of the road at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Sept. 30. The charges stemmed from  in . The  resulted in a Nov. 14 docket conference, where Inverso was sentenced to complete a 30-day individualized program plan and six months of probation.

 

  • charged Gentry Zollars, 25, of Stonewood Drive in Bethel Park, with on July 30. Zollars was also charged with speeding and with failure to drive on the right side of the road. Zollars' , and while the speeding charge was withdrawn, he faced the other charges at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 15. Zollars was granted a Jan. 13 accelerated rehabilitative disposition (ARD) hearing.

 

  • Baldwin Township police charged Ralph Sunder, of Rocklynn Avenue in Pittsburgh, with  on July 2. Sunder's , and he faced those charges . Sunder was sentenced to six months of probation at a Nov. 18 ARD hearing.

 

  •  charged Scott Thomas Zajac, 30, of 2842 Mary St. in Pittsburgh's South Side area, with  on Aug. 21. Zajac's , and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 15. His case will now be part of a Jan. 3 docket conference. That conference should result in the next legal step for Zajac's charge. UPDATE: Conference rescheduled for July 17.

 

  • police charged Jamie Lynn Reis, 28, of 3783 Churchview Ave. in , with  on June 22 after Reis was found lying in distress on the floor of the ladies bathroom at the  that day. Reis' , and she faced her charges at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 15. Her case will now be part of a Jan. 3 docket conference. That conference should result in the next legal step for Reis' charges.

 

  • Whitehall police charged David Havaran, 36, of 366 Streets Run in Whitehall, with on Aug. 24. The charges were withdrawn on Nov. 22.

 

  • Whitehall police charged Brenton Fawcett, 36, of 353 Brookline Blvd. in Pittsburgh's Brookline neighborhood, with  on Sept. 22. Barton held that charge on Nov. 1, and Fawcett now faces a Dec. 21 hearing at the Allegheny County Courthouse.

 

  • Whitehall police charged Rayshon Shields, 19, of 69 Harwood St. in Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood, with  on Oct. 10. Barton held those charges on Oct. 25, and Shields now faces a Dec. 14 hearing at the Allegheny County Courthouse.

 

  • Whitehall police charged Jonathan Crawford, 24, of 115 Maryland Ave. in West Mifflin Borough, with on Oct. 11. The charges were withdrawn on Oct. 25.

Looks like they need to next work on making the "flag as inappropriate" button work, {sigh} Hey, Margaret, Patch knocked computer off IE AGAIN in the middle of posting this, it's not just you---probably quite a few of us.
