Police Find Marijuana Plants in Whitehall Boro

The plants were located between East Willock and Doyle roads.

Acting on an anonymous tip,  police officers discovered marijuana seedlings in a large wooded area in the rear of the 4900 block of East Willock Road at around 7:51 a.m. on Wednesday.

Chief Donald R. Dolfi said that the plants—one of which stretched to about 2 feet tall—appeared to be there for cultivation and use.

Municipal workers from Whitehall removed the plants—about 10 of them—and destroyed them, Dolfi said.
