VIDEO: Two Drivers—One Pregnant—Wreck on Streets Run Road

Police arrested a witness with an outstanding warrant.

Slippery roads were to blame for two vehicles crashing in close proximity to one another in the 900 block of Streets Run Road in south on Saturday between 8 and 9 p.m.

One vehicle—driven by a pregnant woman—struck a guard rail, while the other vehicle struck a hillside and temporarily trapped its driver. The accident involving the guard rail happened first, and other than being caused by wet weather, the two accidents were unrelated.

All of the passengers were safely removed from their vehicles, and in total, three people were taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital. Their conditions are unknown, as medical workers would not identify them.
