UPDATE: Man Accidentally Killed by Own Car

Pasquale Falce, 77, did not have the car in park.

Pasquale Falce, 77, of , died from blunt force trauma to the head and torso as a result of falling off of his car on Green Glen Drive in north Baldwin on Saturday, a supervisor from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office said.

Chief Michael Scott said that Falce, who lived on nearby Cathell Road, was driving his daughter's car on Saturday. He left that car running outside of 163 Green Glen at around 4:49 p.m. with its emergency brake activated. However, he did not engage the car's parking gear.

Scott said that Falce's brother, whom he was picking up on Green Glen, sat in the front passenger's seat of that vehicle before it started to roll away. Pasquale Falce tried to regain control of the car, but he slipped and hit the pavement.
