UPDATE: Scott Township Woman Found in Fayette County

Linda Meyer, the owner of Wiggy's restaurant, had been missing since she left work on Wednesday night.

UPDATE: Pennsylvania State police have confirmed that Linda Meyer has been found alive in Fayette County, PA. Police have not offered any more details on why Meyer was in Fayette County.

Linda Meyer, who owns the popular Wiggy's restaurant on Noblestown Road in western Pittsburgh, has been missing since Wednesday night, WTAE is reporting.

The 56-year-old woman, described by friends as hard-working and sweet, was last seen leaving work at around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

However, Meyer's cellphone apparently was traced to Liberty Borough more than two hours later, according to WTAE. The TV station also reported that Meyer may be driving a pearl-white Chevrolet Malibu with Pennsylvania tags that read ERY-2683.

 said that investigators were following leads on Friday afternoon and would be able to release more details later in the day.

A worker who answered the phone at Wiggy's said that the restaurant has no official comment on the situation.
