More Unlocked Vehicles Entered in Whitehall Borough

If you unlock it, they will come.

A resident of the 400 block of Streets Run Road is the latest of many to report to Whitehall Borough police a theft from an unlocked vehicle.

The resident phoned police at around 10:18 on Sunday morning, Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko said, to report that, sometime overnight, someone entered his vehicle and removed a DVD player and a cellphone from it.

The victim's vehicle was unlocked while it was parked at his residence, Danko said, and the victim told police that several of his neighbors' vehicles were also recently illegally entered into.

None of those neighbors reported anything missing, however, Danko said.
