Man Taken to Jail After Fight at Whitehall 7-Eleven

About a dozen people were in the parking lot during the fight, police say.

Whitehall Borough police officers responded to a fight at around 12:30 a.m. on Friday that drew the attention of approximately a dozen people in the 7-Eleven parking lot along Radford Road, according to Whitehall police Deputy Chief Richard M. Danko.

The officers determined that one man—Bhagi Rath Piwari, 24, of nearby Maple Drive in the Wallace (Prospect) Park area—had started the fight, Danko said, arrested Piwari and took him to the Allegheny County Jail.

"He was the aggressor," the deputy chief said.
