DUI Arrest on Glass Run Road

Suspect's windows were too dark, and his registration sticker was expired, police said.

A Baldwin Borough police officer stopped a vehicle on Glass Run Road near its Walton Road intersection at around 11:39 p.m. on Saturday for having darkly tinted windows and an expired registration sticker, according to a police report.

The officer reported smelling alcohol while talking with the vehicle's driver—Bryan Michael Dettlinger, 29, of Muldowney Avenue in Pittsburgh's Lincoln Place neighborhood. Dettlinger also admitted to recently drinking alcohol, according to the report.

The officer put Dettlinger through field-sobriety and breath-analyzer tests, which he failed, before arresting him and taking him to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for a blood test (results pending).
